"Can you give me a price range of what your explant surgery with the fat transfer is costing you out of your pocket?"
This is a tricky tricky process so I’m going to share with you all of the ‘fail forwards’ I’ve experienced because WHEW, there’s been a LOT to learn so I want to help you short cut your process.
In this VIDEO we’ll cover: Choosing a doctor, how much you’ll expect to pay plus the options you’ll have.
“How Can I find the best surgeon in my area?”
It’s VERY important to work with a doctor who knows how to do a proper en-bloc procedure, when you explant, which means they are able to, knowledgable and experienced with removing not ONLY your implants, but also the capsule around them, that your body has formed around the implant to protect you from the toxins that are contained in and around the implants. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY PARAMOUNT. Please do not just go to any surgeon asking for an explant, as you run the risk of them not properly, safely and comprehensively removing the implants in tact with your capsule as well as the potentially impacted tissues surrounding the capsule. “Will insurance cover my explant?”
After interviewing 10 doctors, being very cautious and careful about the questions I asked, I decided to work with Dr Strawn in Newport Beach who I adore and did an amazing job. I saved about $5,000 by standing tall against my insurance company who originally declined our coverage for the explant portion, yet because I know what to say, I persisted with his office to get it covered in the end. I teach my clients how to accomplish this in our programs, having helped some women save over $9,000.
Alas, this is a very difficult maze to walk alone, and it took me 1.5 years of a full time job to research, defend, and collaborate with my fellow medical doctor friends to help myself through this so I could turn around and teach it to other women. My goal is to empower women in one month which took me years to figure out myself and I mastered it, which I am passionate about. It was hard to suffer alone in silence and confusion, so this is a huge passion of mine.
