In a world of constant reminders and uppercuts to ‘FIT IN’, molding you like clay to conform, behaving so others don’t get ‘offended’ by your words, actions, image.
In a world where we are sold, prescribed, marketed distractions from ‘feeling’ such as chemicals, prescriptions, pornography, stimulants, anti depressants….I wonder…
What % of your live are you LIVING authentically?
Like how much of the time are you actually being YOU?
Feeling the space to be FREE with your words, free of fear of judgment in their aftermath, FREEDOM to look natural, raw, naked without giving a $hit about how scary you *may* look without ‘make up’. Gutter talk of the mind sounds like this:
- OMG cellulite – cover that $hit up (because gosh you don’t want to look like women you were taught to judge too)
- OMG feelings – hold that $hit back, what if you get hurt (again)?
- OMG I made a mistake – don’t you dare admit it, no one will trust you again
OMG I don’t know that – never admit you ‘don’t know’, you must trick the world into thinking you’re the expert - OMG integrity – I don’t always practice what I preach, if they knew that, they’d think I was a fake
If they only knew who I REALLY was
They may think I’m a fraud.
WHO, whose voice, IN YOUR BODY SAYS THESE THINGS?
The ego.
Your heart wants for you to be set free.
To spread your wings and show the world who you REALLY are.
To connect with others who do the same, and who you bond with through your AUTHENTICITY, not your FACADE.
Small talk keeps us ‘average’…
Who ever said ‘when I grow up, I want to be average’…yet 90% of the population is!
If we apply this ‘90% of the population lives in their comfort zone’ statistic as a visual, there are 300 million people living in the US, and 3 million living in Orange County, CA. That’s how few of us there are in the world that step out of fear and dive into the unknown.
There are plenty of people coasting through live as ‘average’…
If you have a gift, something to share that can benefit humanity, what better time than now to start?
WE NEED YOU!
The world needs you.
It’s another angle to view it this way…Accepting mediocrity of yourself, and not sharing your gifts, love, truth is SELFISH. You’re making it about YOU and YOUR fears, rather than seeing it on the flip side:
“By holding back, I’m depriving others of this gift I have to share, because I’m letting my FEAR get to me”.
I bow to you Warriors who are STRONG enough to show up naked.
Have the COURAGE to step into your REAL SELF.
Can you give less f*cks about what others think of you, enough to START little by little living your life as YOU wish to, instead of how you’ve been TAUGHT to?
That’s a lot of change to ask of myself, though…
How do I embark on being more ‘me’?
START HERE
What % of my life am I living authentically?
5%? 10%? 50%? 90%?
Under what conditions do I feel safe to be ME?
To NOT be me?
Who am I with, where am I, WHY am I?
Or why am I NOT?
Use those ‘safe zones’ as practice to express freely….TONE the muscles of acceptance, strength, fearlessness….
Until you feel more courage to SHOW UP as YOU in ALL FACETS of your life (work, love, friendships, lifestyle, travel). Unapologetically YOU. It may sting at first, as you practice it in public and PERCEIVE yourself by how others respond to you, but even THAT is a lie.
Once you accept THAT, you step into your TRUTH, that which you are, and always will be.
A big ball of passion, fire, happiness and LOVE.
LOVE is freedom…to be you…and loving yourself so deeply, that you invite others to do the same, so that they are liberated from their own BULL $hit, and can walk the path WITH you. Infinitely inspiring one another.
The closer you are to 100% of expressing your truth in this world, without considerations for how others think of you; the closer you are to self love, and hence can give love more openly, and receive love humbly, gracefully.
Again I ask you: What % of your life, are YOU living authentically? With LOVE?
In the end, that is ALL there is that binds you to you, you to others, and me to you.
Get weird with us, feel supported in a community where BEING REAL, to JUST BE YOU, is encouraging, liberating and HEALTHY!
